This is one of best ''hole in the wall'' place in the signal hills area. The inside is a ''homey'' type place which i like alot.
First time here on the patio with our dogs. Food was excellent and really large portions. I had the bacon cheeseburger which was fresh, tasty and huge. Fried onion rings to die for. My wife had an Ahi bowl which she said was the best she has ever had. No excuse to finish still hungry. Our waitress, Amanda was uner friendly to our dogs and was very attentive to our needs. We'll be back again for sure!!! Curlys is a Signsll Hill institution, having been there since the 1930s oil boom in SignalHill. Ambiance is a little industrial but the food and drink make up for it.
They serve the coldest beer in town. The chicken wings were delicious. The taquitos were mid. Service was pleasant. Place is very old but overall nice place to grab a cold beer and some food.
Love going to eat here. Took the family from out of town to get breakfast at Black Bear. They were really busy that morning so we tried Curleys and we were impressed with the good food. When I have an appointment in Long Beach I call and order the egg salad sandwich to go.
Visiting Long Beach and dropped in at Curley's Cafe. Ordered a crispy chicken sandwich, which I have to say was the best chicken sandwich ever! The double chicken patty's were thinly battered and tender juicy, and the round bun was buttery with a good crunch! The sandwich was filled with nice strips of crunchy bacon, fresh guacamole, tomatoes, and lettuce that was a compliment with the great tasting sauce! The onion rings and French fries our a treat also! Culey's treat their customers well, and it shows with their friendly service and make your eatting experience a very good one!
For our Moms birthday, she wanted to go here. A favorite spot for her and our Dad when he was alive. She was happy to see a server that always helped them still there. I never crave a burger but was this day and ordered the western with sweet potato fries. It was delish! My Mom got the pastrami and loved it but she asked for jalapeños for some spice and lemme tell you that have spicy ones! Another thing I loved was their ranch was not watered down like most places. Mmm The atmosphere is very local hangout. Chill vibe. Check it out.
Came here for lunch with a friend. Server was quick to get our order. She was friendly. The restaurant/bar is small. Average noise. Clean. We ordered the spicy chicken sandwich & the turkey sandwich. Both were delicious. The turkey was fresh.
